A visionary expanding the market of out-of-home media!
Bernd Schneider, a qualified
stage master (assembler of communication media
since 1990), is fighting as developer since 1992
for new ideas and visions on the out-of-home
media market.
As part of his remarkable successes have to be
mentioned the installations of gigantic fabric
posters on façades and scaffolding. An
outstanding event in Germany was the blow-up
billposting at the Henninger Tower in
Frankfurt/Main (in 1997 – a world record with
6500m2). With this installation, assembled by
mountaineers, the new profession of “industrial
climbers” was born in cooperation with the
Employer’s Liability Insurance Association.
Being a subcontractor of the Ströer group, he
received in 1998 the newly developed mega-lights
(scrollers) under lab conditions from the
factory, carried out the required field testing
and made them operate smoothly along the streets.
As subcontractor of Deutsche Eisenbahnreklame he
introduced in 2002 advertising with video
projectors in 18/1 format in German S-Bahn (commuter
train) stations.
These few examples demonstrate that he was and
is permanently dedicated to develop new
advertising concepts and assembly systems that
inspire and modernize the market. After many
years of working in the background he created in
2003 the idea of a giant mobile billboard, the
Mobilskyboard, with 360 m2 of display surface
and he had his innovative system patented. His
next development in the field of mobile
large-surface advertising media was the
Mobilskyboard 100, launched in 2006, presenting
100m2 of display surface in only 3 minutes,
which can be brought to any location in the
world that is accessible by truck, either as
stand-alone unit or installed on a truck or
trailer.
